Abstract (EN)

The primary aim of this study is to investigate the role of career resources in perceived decent work in the future among university students. The participant group in the study consisted of undergraduate students from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of university. 300 students participated in the research, comprising 228 females (76%) and 72 males (24%). As data collection tools, "Personal Information Form", "Future Perceived Decent Work Scale" and "Career Resources" were used to obtain demographic information about the students. The data obtained were analysed using the SPSS program. Pearson Correlation Analysis was performed to determine the level and direction of the relationship between university students' future perceptions of decent work and their career resources. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine the extent to which career resources sub-dimensions predicted future decent work. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the sub-dimensions of human capital resources were not significant predictors, while organizational career support and job challenge from environmental career resources were significant predictors. Among motivational career resources, career commitment, career clarity and career confidence were significant predictors, while among career management resources, learning, networking and career exploration were significant predictors.
