Abstract (EN)
Individual personalities, behaviors and development of individuals are shaped by the influence of many factors. Among these elements, family, group of friends, school, social environment, socio-economic and cultural structure, personal characteristics and behaviors are the main determinant factors. Today, these basic elements as well as the personal qualities of the fashion concept emerges as another factor which played an impressive role. In particular, it is observed quite influenced by fashion students of the university in search of self and identity. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of fashion on the expression of university students themselves. The population of the study was determined as Isparta University Of Applied Sciences. The research consists of 320 students studying at various faculties and vocational schools within the university. A questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool to determine the effect of fashion on the way students express themselves. Factor analysis, t-test, variance, correlation and chi-square analyzes were performed and the results were analyzed. According to the findings of the research, the students agreed with the general statement that "Fashion is the way of expressing oneself"; Fashion is effective in the way I express myself. If It was concluded that they were undecided. Keywords: Fashion, University, University Student, Clothing.
