Examination of relationship between university students' participation awareness of recreation activities and level of entrepreneurship

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between university students' participation awareness of recreation activities and level of entrepreneurship. In accordance with this purpose, a total of 1493 physical education and sports and sport science faculty students from 11 universities selected by convenience sampling method have participate in the research study. In study in addition to personal information, ''Recreation Awareness Scale'' which was developed by Ekinci (2017) and '' Entrepreneurship Scale for University Students'' which was developed by Yılmaz and Sünbül (2009) was used. Spss 20 package program was used to analyze the data obtained in the research. In this study, in the evaluation part of the data obtained descriptive statistic methods such as frequency and percentage were used. Additionally, correlation analysis methods were used to determine the relationship between the descriptive statistical models as well as the Anova test, the Monova test, Regression analysis, and the measurement tools used (p=0.05). Consequently; There was a significant positive correlation between participation awareness of recreation activities and level of entrepreneurship. While there was a significant difference in terms of recreation awareness among participants in terms of gender, age, department, and growing environment, there was no significant difference between prosperity level, sporting attraction, and leisure time. While there was a significant difference in terms of level of entrepreneurship among participants in terms of gender, department, prosperity level, sector that is expected to work after graduation, business idea, and work experience, there was no significant difference between age, possibility of starting a business after graduation, and growing environment.
