Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to compare the static and dynamic balance performance and anaerobic power and flexibility performance of amateur football players who are university students according to positions. A total of 45 amateur football players, 15 defenders, 15 midfield players and 15 strikers, participated in the study. The research was carried out on football players between the ages of 18-25 who are studying at Bartın University. 'Flamingo Balance Test' was used to specify the static balance performance of the football players, 'Star Excursion Balance Test' was used to determine the dynamic balance performance, 'RAST Repetitive Sprint Test' was used to determine the anaerobic power, and 'Sit-Reach Test' was used to determine the flexibility performances. One Way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation analysis were used in the SPSS 22.0 program in the analysis phase of the data obtained. At the end of the study, it was determined that the static balance and anaerobic power performances of the football players showed significant difference according to the positions which they played (p<0.05). On the contrary, it was determined that the dynamic balance and flexibility performances of the football players did not show significant difference according to the positions which they played (p>0.05). In addition, it was specified that there were positive significant relationships between anaerobic power and balance and flexibility performances in football players (p<0.05). Consequently, it can be said that the static balance and anaerobic power levels of amateur football players who study at university show some differences according to the positions, ın addition, the anaerobic power level is a factor that affects the balance and flexibility performance positively.
