Abstract (EN)
Universıties, which have a great part in science production, have a great role in spreading the science, experiencing new technological developments and ın the creation of AR-GE and innovation. The works of universıties in terms of ındustry cooperation have great ımpact on the social development ıncreasing welfare states of societıes; What's more, technology developmental centres formed around Universıties stand out as the most concrete exampla of those events. Thanks to the universıties built ın many ındustrial cities of Turkey, many changes have taken place ın both social and economic fabric, creating an increase on the wellfare of many fields. This study ınvestigates the effects of cooperation between university and ındustry on both employment and local economy status of Uşak, and the findings on employment and local economy will be evaluated.
