A research on the organizational commitment of university sport clubs athletes: An example of Anadolu university

This study intends to search the athletes' organizational commitment. In addition tothis, the effects of some demographic features on the levels of athletes emotional,continuetive and normative commitements are tested. The research is limited withAnadolu University Youth and Sports Club A team athletes who competed incompetitions in 2007-2008 season.The survey technique is used to collect information / data in this research. Thesurvey used in the resarch consists of two parts. The survey has been distributed to218 athletes and 165 questionnaires have been included in the research. Collectingdata survey has been applied to the athletes of Youth and Sport Club of AnadoluUniversity between 24 December 2007 and 4 January 2008 of 2007-2008 seasonwith the aid of trainers to the athletes taking place at the research world. Percentand frequency methods have been used for the first part of the survey at the solutionof data obtained as are sult of survey application.
