Abstract (EN)

Technology; The emergence of leading people who will direct humanity and transfer this power to people in return for its effective and efficient use has revealed the phenomenon of technological leader. The technological leader will provide solutions for the supply of technology when necessary. Particularly, effective use of technology in universities, recruitment for educational activities, and follow-up of changing and developing technology are related to the technological leadership competence levels of academic and administrative administrators. Considering these reasons, technological leadership competence levels of academic and administrative administrators were investigated and examined. In this study, starting from the concept of leadership, the importance of leadership and the sources of leadership power are explained in detail. There has been a transition from the concept of leadership to the concept of technological leadership, and the subject of technological leadership and competence in education has been combined under the name of NETS standards. The literature part of the study has been ended by considering the NETS standards comprehensively in terms of teachers, students, technology coaches, computer science educators and administrators. The main purpose of the study is to determine whether there is a difference between the technological leadership competence levels of academic and administrative managers. In order to test the hypotheses determined in line with this purpose, data were collected from the academic and administrative administrators working at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University via questionnaire. The data obtained were tested with T-Test and ANOVA methods in SPSS 22.0 package program and the hypotheses were tested. As a result of the analysis, it has been revealed that academic and administrative administrators working at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University see themselves at a sufficient level in terms of technological leadership self-efficacy, but academic managers are better in terms of technological leadership self-efficacy compared to administrative managers.
