Abstract (EN)
Social contribution is one of the main duties of universities but although the concept and scope are deep and broad, they are not clear. Social contribution practices should be practices that add value to society directly or indirectly in line with sustainable development goals and are carried out with the interaction and cooperation of all stakeholders of the university. Students constitute the largest group among the stakeholders of universities; for this reason, it is aimed to reveal students' perceptions and thoughts about social contribution concepts, approaches and practices through a situation analysis approach and thus to increase their awareness of social contribution. Students are also the target audience of higher education marketing. Higher education institutions are in serious competition to be preferred by students. In order to reveal the approaches and priorities that will create competitive advantage in the marketing of higher education institutions, customer dynamics, thought systems, perception states and ratings must be done properly and carefully evaluated. For these reasons, the target audience in our research was determined as students studying at higher education institutions. The concept of university social responsibility sees universities as institutions that train socially responsible citizens and managers. They are expected to achieve this at theoretical and practical levels in their training programs and institutional structures. In our research, students' perceptions on these issues were learned and evaluated.
