Review of the curriculum of the recreation management department provided education at undergraduate level in universities

The problems of changes and the developments in the field of science and technology have caused changes in leisure time. The process of evaluating the needs of more people in a correct and beautiful way continues, as their free time will increase and they want to spend their time in a quality and productive way. In this case, the recreation system, which is the equivalent of free time, also emerged. The reason why people who are in this field and have received education are included so that they can spend their free time productively is that they have not left yet. In order to solve this situation, the 'Recreation Management Department' in universities plays an important role. It was determined that helping them engage in leisure time activities and taking the right actions would only be possible with people who have received training in this department. Recreation Management education has become important with the increase in leisure time. He gave information to universities about this department and how to spend their free time. The purpose of this use is to examine the recreation management curricula in Turkey and continue the literature contribution section. In another phase of the study, information about the method is included and modeling, method and data collection process are mentioned. In addition, the findings obtained from the relevant study are also included. The increase in the earnings of academicians who received doctorate education in the field of recreation management programs was seen in 21 faculties and colleges in 20 universities in Turkey. It is seen that the curriculum generally includes recreation, vocational, sports courses and sports-oriented courses, as well as courses such as business administration, management and organization, especially language courses. As a result of the research, the content of sample curriculum programs for recreation management departments in line with the information obtained from the findings.
