Abstract (EN)
The study was attended by student candidates prepared for physical education and sports departments of 50 universities (25 women and 25 men). In the second chapter, personality and stress concepts were discussed in order to support the literature. In the methodology part of the study, the information about the scales and the demographic information asked were shared with the participants. In the analysis of the data part, the analyzes related to the study are included. Some demographic questions were asked to participants with stress perception and five factor personality inventory. The t-test was performed to determine whether the participants differed demographically. While there was no difference in the perception of stress in terms of factors such as gender, age, income level and training time, it was seen that students with higher sports age were more successful in terms of stress perception. The relationship between personality traits and students' perception of stress was determined. While neuroticism personality factor positively affected stress perception, it was found that the factors of compatibility, extroversion, self-discipline and openness to experience had a negative effect.
