Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between women's feminist identity, gender perception and psychological Well-being. It is examine whether the feminist identity levels of women differ in terms of age, education level, department, geographical region, mother's education level, father's education level. The research group consists of 422 women selected by random sampling from various universities. Findings on feminist identity in the research, "Unified Feminist Identity Scale" adapted by Altıntaş and Altıntaş (2007), "Gender Perception Scale" developed by the Altınova and Duyan (2013) for data on gender perception and Telef (2011) for psychological Well-being. The adapted "Psychological Well-being Scale" and the "Demographic Information Form" developed by researcher were used. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 18 package program. One-way Anova test, Independent samples t-test, Multiple regression analysis, Pearson Correlation analysis and non-hierarchical cluster analysis were used to examine the research problems. According to the findings, it has been determined that there are significant reletionships between university women's feminist identity development, gender perception and psychological Well-being. Significant relationships at different levels were also found between the sub-dimensions of feminist identity. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was found that gender perception and psychological Well-being significantly predicted the feminist identity and its sub-dimensions. As a result of the Anova test, it was found that the feminist identity differs according to the department, the education level of the mother, the education level of the father and the passive acceptance stage which is one of the sub-stages of the feminist identity, differs according to the age, department, geographical region. In addition it has been determined thet the stage of spreading the feminist identity differs According to the age level.
