Abstract (EN)

In this research, the effect of UNS S31803 duplex stainless steel on the mechanical and corrosion behavior of the welded connection between the phases and the intermetallic compounds due to different heat inputs that may occur at the source of TİG and Shielded Metal Arc Welding methods were investigated. For this purpose; UNS S31803 duplex stainless steel pipe with dimensions of 21,44x323,9x250 mm are connected with E2209-15 covered electrode and ER2209 additional filler wire. Pure argon gas was used as shiding gas and root protection gas. Microstructural investigations, magnetic delta ferrite, mechanical tests and corrosion (weight loss) tests based on PTS and ASME standards; These standards are applied according to the standards.
