Unver Gunay's contributions to Turkish religious sociology

Professor Dr. Unver Gunay, deep religious knowledge to the formation of the sociology of religion in Turkey, sociological point of view, the vast literature methods and is one of the major contributors with knowledge of the Turkish sociologist. Mr. Unver Gunay focused his research on Turkish society and determined the relationship between Turkish social life and religion. He has conducted studies on many topics in the field of sociology of religion throughout his academic life. The most important book of Mr. Gunay is: "Din Sosyolojisi". In addition, Mr. Gunay has dealt with valuable works such as Turkish religious history, migration and religion, secularism, Ziya Gokalp, places to visit and religious groups. He has demonstrated qualitative results using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods separately and in his studies. Mr. Gunay has not only made a situation determination in his works but has never stopped suggesting solutions to the problems he has noticed. Mr. Gunay is important for Turkish sociology of religion therefore the purpose of this research; Professor Dr. Unver Gunay's contribution to the sociology of Turkish religion and its point of view on a conceptual basis in the light of his opinions by analyzing his works.
