The views of production line managers on mass customization: An application on producer companies in Malatya

Production systems and management techniques that have to be constantly renewed as a result of globalization and technological developments, is brought businesses face to face with mass customization system. Although the system is known a production strategy, in fact it is also a management and marketing strategy. Because it offers businesses to identify their customers and thus to provide a competitive advantage.in today?s intense global competition environment.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the mass customization system with it?s management part and its relation with information technologies. Also the system is compared with the others, its general properties, how the production line works and its application to information technologies are explained in detail. In order to understand the views of production line managers on mass customization a survey was conducted and the results were analyzed statistically.
