A comparison between production and service industries about life satisfaction and occupational satisfaction shows significant difference in production industry. There were no significant differences between two workplaces, in all subscales of Brief Symptom Inventory?s scales. In both industries, the mean Positive Symptom Distress Index is over the cut-off point in positive symptom total. The score of GHQ and life satisfaction show a negative correlation. There is negative correlation found between occupational satisfaction and positive symptom total index. The positive symptom total index score is reducing expressively while life satisfaction of the individual is increasing. Conclusion: Our study discloses positive correlation between life satisfaction and occupational satisfaction; life satisfaction increases dependant to the raise of occupational satisfaction. The significative reletion between these two variables shows that occupational satisfaction has an important place in life satisfaction. The BSI?s inconvenience index average is over the cut-off point in general summary and also in both industries averages, which shows the workers have risk level mental indications in terms of psychiatric discomforts.
