Examination about the work force productivity mesauring systems and an application in an example of business enterprise

The main aim of companies is to survive and to make a profit. It is possible to realize these goals by working productively. A company that wants to know whether it works productively or not must have a true productivity measuring system.Nowadays, since effective methods aren?t used or known, productivity measuring cannot be performed effectively. This study of thesis aims to present an effective productivity measuring system to managers. With this design, the work force productivity that is a kind of partial productivity has been examined. The types of productivity measuring methods have been explained and an application has been performed by using added value method that one of these methods in the Maintenance and Manufacturing Directorship.At the end of the application, that the added value method is an effective measuring method and it provides to take consideration many factors that affect the productivity has been observed. Also, a regression analysis has been done in order to compare the factors that affect the productivity of the business enterprise. As a result of the regression analysis, it has been observed that work force productivity of Maintenance Directorship is envisionable but work force productivity of Manufacturing Directorship is not envisionable.
