Calculation of production costs of businesses with the gray forecasting method and furious logic method: An agricultural enterprise application

The rapid development of digitalization has led businesses to make quick decisions using few and limited data for their future planning. It is known that businesses using an effective prediction method can maintain their business objectives in a healthier way with their future decisions, and therefore prediction methods are of particular importance for businesses. Fuzzy logic is a computer logic system which helps them with logical administrations similar to human acts. The fuzzy logic approach gives machines the ability to process private data belonging to humans and to work by benefiting of their experiences and foresights. It uses symbolic expressions instead of numerical expressions while gaining this ability. The gray prediction has been developed to make predictions about the future with the help of the gray model GM (1.1) using the few available data. As compared to other prediction techniques, gray prediction has many advantages such as requirement of fewer numbers of data to establish a model and high prediction accuracy. In this study, information about gray based costing and fuzzy logic methods which make cost predictions for future terms has been presented and these methods have been aimed to be applied in X dairy enterprise carrying on business in animal sector. By considering the success of the applied methods and the reliability rate, obtained, future cost predictions of the decision-makers have been tried to be foresighted. As a result of the steps performed in findings and suggestions, the analysis results have been considered in detail, the required interpretations and suggestions have been given.
