Abstract (EN)

Proposing new methods in production planning related to integrated systems or developing the currently used ones has been attracted great interest for industrial engineers. In most cases, models represent optimizing methods for maintenance or quality control parameters. However, in order to better understand production planning parameters and optimization methods, both maintenance and quality control could be considered simultaneously which results in a model that meets the essential needs of the industry. In this work, developing a joint optimization model and trying to improve it, a case study is performed to solve a production planning problem. Two types of maintenance strategies, one of which is the minimal corrective maintenance and the other is the imperfect preventive maintenance, has been taken into consideration to develop the model. The joint model proposes an improved method using four decision variables, i.e. sample size (n), sampling frequency (h), control limit coefficient (k) and preventive maintenance interval (t_PM) to minimize the total cost of the integration per unit time. Finally, using a numerical example, the effect of the cost parameters on the joint process and the sensitivity of the model to various problem parameters have been studied.
