Abstract (EN)

The integration of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technologies into architectural production processes has initiated a radical transformation in the discipline of architecture. While this transformation necessitates the questioning of traditional design paradigms, it also necessitates the redefinition of the roles of human agency and technological tools. Especially in the context of New Realism, the re-evaluation of object and subject categories allows a new aesthetic understanding to emerge in the field of architecture and art. Generative AI plays a pivotal role in shaping aesthetic entities and creative processes by catalyzing both individual and creative collective endeavors. While architecture has traditionally been defined as a field that integrates aesthetics and functionality, the emergence of artificial intelligence is profoundly altering its creative processes and paving the way for the development of novel methodologies. The concept of 'genetopia,' developed in this context, examines the spatial and intellectual dimensions of production processes and the representational potential. The concept of 'Genetopia' is defined as a plane where physical and digital space are intertwined and reality and truth are constantly reproduced. It emphasizes heterotopic and hybrid relationships between subject and object. This theoretical framework contributes to the understanding of the new possibilities that generative artificial intelligence offers to the discipline of architecture. It offers important clues for the redefinition of aesthetic experiences and the development of new creative practices.
