Özet (EN)

Utopias have the feature of criticism against the deficiencies and mistakes seen in the social, political and economic structures of the current system. In addition, utopias present an alternative society design in which these deficiencies and mistakes are eliminated. Feminism is a form of struggle against gender inequality and discrimination created by patriarchal ideology. The goal of feminism is to eliminate sexism, sexist oppression and exploitation. The feminist movement has used and developed different methods and means to combat the male-dominated order. Utopias have become one of the means of feminist struggle. This research aims to reveal the differences between approaches to gender equality by revealing the differences between traditional utopias and feminist utopias.Even though traditional utopias aim to establish an equal and fair order, they have not been successful in their claims of equality because they continue to discriminate between the sexes. This situation shows that women are not included in the struggle for equality. Feminist utopias have shown that an equal and fair world cannot be achieved without gender equality.
