Özet (EN)

This study aims to investigate the FDM properties of compounds, that have shown phase change characteristics using traditional FDM methods such as microencapsulation, by incorporating them into UV-curable systems. In the first step, oleyl alcohol was methacrylated to gain UV-curing capability and cured with a urethane methacrylate-based matrix. In the second step, in order to make a comparison, polymeric films were obtained by incorporating a similar molecule, octadecanol, into the UV-curable mixture formulations without modification. By this way, polymeric films that can be produced more quickly, environmentally friendly and which do not cause leakage problems have been produced. The FDM properties of the UV-cured polymeric films were characterized using methods such as TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), and F-TIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). The results of the conducted studies indicate that the prepared materials can be considered as stable materials for thermal energy storage. This Thesis Study was carried out in the chemistry laboratory of Yalova University Yalova Vocational School. All the analyses were conducted by Yalova University
