Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, UV- derivative spectrophotometer method was developed for the determination of Meloxicam in tablets. Solvent, wavelength and derivative spectrophotometry scans were performed to obtain the most suitable conditions for the method. In methanol/NaOH (50:50, v/v) solution, the third derivative spectrophotometry was measured at 341 nm using peak-zero method for the determination of meloxicam. The linear range of the method was found to be 1-14 μg/mL. The detection and quantification limits were 0,25 and 0,84 μg/mL. The method was validated and successfully applied to the analysis of the products. This method is easy, rapid, selective, sensitive and repeatable and can be used safely in tablet analysis.
