Uighur Khaganate settlements and Por Bajïn

Always Uighurs take attention of researchers with their cultural history as much as with their political history. After they overthrew the Turkic Khaganate in 744, in the period of Orkhon based Uighur Khaganate which they shaped inner Asian history until 840, they built settlements which have been considered one of the cultural elements of the sedentary life. In our thesis locations, plans, typologies, contruction techniques, contruction materials, and functions of these settlements have been examined which were built in the VIII-IXth century and they have been considered as a part of the Uighur Khaganate's cultural history and today located in the south of the Tuva Autonomous Republic and in the north of the Mongolian People's Republic.
