Özet (EN)

Sleep apneas are one of the important sickness of sleep. Respiratory standstill as known as still decreases to quality of sleep who has that sickness. That sickness which is effect to persons social life has possibility to treatment with early diagnosis. The aim of this study is to perform the spectral analysis of thinning electroencephalography (EEG) signals during sleep apnea. Polysomnography (PSG) records have used in this research. Searching to processes of applying signals to electroencephalography (EEG) signals for estimation apnea how to respond based on Polysomnography (PSG) records. First, the spectral power densities of the signals were obtained by Fast Fourier Transform method and then the spectral entropies were calculated. When these values were examined, it was observed that entropy decreased to minimum levels at the time of apnea. Periods of beginning apneas compared previously by physicians according to fore mentioned values in records. As a result of comparison, it was observed that the times when entropy decreased to minimum levels coincided with the onset of apnea.
