Throughout his life, Uzun Firdevsî translated and compiled many works, one of which is the subject of our analysis, Hayât-nâme has been accepted as his last work by consensus. Before analysing the work which we identified as a sole copy in consequence of our catalog searches in Turkey and abroad; we investigated the life and works of the writer based on his works and other historical sources. Subsequently, we analyzed the aforementioned work into various titles with regards to its content and form. In the last chapter, we transliterated the text of Hayât-nâme to modern Turkish with annotative footnotes for making the text more comprehensible. In this way, by presenting Uzun Firdevsî's last work titled Hayât-nâme to the academic world, we tried to locate the writer in the field of Turkish literature.
