Abstract (EN)
Nowadays diseases increased depending on some of the factors like unhealthy nutrition and inactive life. With this increment of diseases the time that patients spent on bed lengthen. Depending on the severity of the disease time that spent on the bed may be change. On the bodies of this long lied patients, some bed sores may occur because of body weight and rubbing on bed. The treatment process after the formation of pressure sores is a long and costly process. The most effective treatment of these wounds which may be serious enough to require surgical interventions is to prevent the development of these sores. When the pressure points, which are caused by the body weight of a person lying in the bed, are exposed to pressure for a long time, the blood pressure at the points can be affected and the vessels can be damaged. If this is not prevented, edema will occur at these points and result in tissue loss. Shifting the body's pressure points to prevent these wounds is a healthier solution. Physically rotating or relocating the patients can cause some problems like the patient movement and necessity of trained personel. In order to avoid such difficulties, to save the the pressure of the points -which are under pressure for a long time in the patient's lying position- from pressure effect, the airbags and controlling the air flow on these airbags with an electronic circuit can provide effective and long-term protection. In this study, electronic patient bed system design made and recommendations have been to prevent pressure ulcers in long - term inpatients.
