Abstract (EN)

VI ABSTRACT That the companies to operate productively depends, to a large extent, on the productive work of their employees. Job satisfaction is one of the important factors that affect the productivity of employees. Employees who are satisfied with their jobs are expected to work productively. Working time is a major factor that affects the job satisfaction level of employees. As one of the working time arrangements, "shiftwork working time arrangements" have been increasingly used as a common practice by corporations. In this study, in order to examine the effects of shiftwork on the job satisfaction of workers, a survey has been performed on two companies. The analysis of questionnaires via "multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA)" indicates that almost all job satisfaction facet levels of the workers from day, evening and night shifts do not differ significantly. The effects of other independent variables, used in the analysis other than shift variable, on job satisfaction have been examined as well.
