Abstract (EN)

This thesis analyzes export diversification as a strategic tool to promote sustainable economic development in Venezuela, through a comparative study of the model implemented by Türkiye. Based on a historical and structural review of both countries' economies, the study identifies the factors that facilitated Türkiye's diversification process and evaluates the possibility of adapting these strategies to the Venezuelan context. The research combines document analysis, specialized literature review, and updated statistical data to offer a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. It concludes that, despite structural differences, Venezuela can benefit from trade liberalization, support for strategic sectors, and the strengthening of domestic productive capacities, following principles similar to those applied by Türkiye. This study presents concrete proposals aimed at building a more resilient, inclusive, and dynamic economic model for Venezuela.
