Özet (EN)
In this study, firstly, DEA application is made by using quarterly financial ratios as datas of 22 deposit banks which have been active in between 2013-2017 and have more than 1 branch in Turkey. This thesis contains 3 chapters. In the first chapter, the definition and elements of the Financial System, the definition of banking, the history of banking sector in the world and in Turkey and the size of the sector which are in Turkey are mentioned. In the second chapter, definition of Efficiency and its types, Data Envelopment Analysis method and its historical development, its are mentioned. The last chapter includes Efficiency analyzes in banking sector using DEA method in the literature, application and the results of application. In the soluation phase of the models, EMS Efficiency Measurement System) which is a special standart programme for DEA Method is used.
