Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to identify the steps that must be taken in order for double stops studies in violoncello education to produce effective results. It is also necessary to assess the readiness for double stops, as well as the difficulties encountered during the course of the studies and the teaching methods used. Furthermore, through the perspectives of violoncello educators, the study reached conclusions about the contributions of double stops studies to violoncello education in technical, intonation and musical dimensons. In terms of being appropriate for research purposes, the study is a qualitative study based on the scanning model. The data for the study were collected via videoconference and telephone, as well as through a questionnaire developed based on the literature review and professional experiences, which included questions about double stops studies in violoncello education. As a result of this study, it is thought that double stops studies in violoncello education are necessary. According to violoncello educators, double stops exercises should be included in violoncello instruction. The research findings indicated the required preparedness to begin double stops studies, as well as the problems faced in the study's conduct and the techniques utilized in teaching. Furthermore, the technical, intonation and musical dimensions of double stops investigations were determined.
