Abstract (EN)

The main aim of the comparative analysis of the role Don Giovanni, Leporello and Masetto in the Opera of W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni is comparing the roles of Don Giovanni, Leporello and Masetto between musically, characteristically and examination of the singing techniques during performed. In the first part of the dissertation, Music style in the Enlightenment period, W.A. Mozart and Librettist Lorenzo da Ponte are studied. In the second part, Synopsis of the Opera Don Giovanni, Roles of the Opera and character of the Opera are examined. In the third and the fourth part, Examining the text analysis of the role Don Giovanni, Leporello and Masetto, differences between arias and the relationships of the characters are elaborately examined. And the last part; the characters are compared. Throughout the years, characters that are the subject of debate, in which kind of vocalization and socio-economic structures were examined and from this situation, the thesis is intended to guide other researchers. Qualitative method was used in the study and document analysis, content analysis, case study and life history techniques were used. The works of the authors who made researches on the period, articles about this Opera and the letters of the composer and the Librettist were studied.
