Abstract (EN)

This study aims to determine the effect of teaching the topic of "Fractions" in mathematics lessons to fourth-grade elementary school students using Web 2.0 tools on students' use of digital technology, their enjoyment of learning mathematics, and their motivation to learn mathematics. The study group consisted of fourth-grade students attending a public elementary school in Afyonkarahisar province during the 2023-2024 academic year. An appropriate sampling method was used for the study sample. The study employed a pre-test-post-test control group model within the framework of a quasi-experimental design, one of the quantitative research methods. In this quantitative research study, the "Scale of Digital Technology Use in the Mathematics Learning Process", "Scale of Enjoyment of Mathematics Learning" and "Mathematics Course Motivation Scale" were used as data collection tools. The Mann-Whitney U-Test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, Independent Groups t-test and Dependent Groups t-test were used in the analysis of the data. The study concluded that teaching mathematics using Web 2.0 tools has a positive impact on students' enjoyment of mathematics, increases their motivation, and positively influences their use of digital technology.
