Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to put forward that a Web TV broadcasting could be made possible at the university of Dumlupinar considering that the internet has become widespread thanks to broadband internet, newspapers, magazines and even TV can be viewed online. The fast progresses of the internet and its widespread use have created a new communication platform that could be followed online. Any individual with an access to the internet has become a potential T watcher. A webtv application (DpüTv) has been made to strengthen the communication between the university and its students. Some problems that arose during this process and its reasons along with the applications that came up during the hardware and software setups of DpüTv have become the main concern of this study. By making lie shows on the scientific research, art and cultural events from Dumlupinar University, a broadcasting has been made possible and more people took benefit from these shows. This installed system is the IPTV itself which is seen as the future of Tv technology.
