This thesis focuses on the analysis of the form and performance aspects of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Clarinet Quintet in A Major, K.V. 581. He is considered as one of the most significant composers of the Classical Period. Conducted as a qualitative study, this research has been developed through a review of literature and documents, employing a descriptive research model in the thesis. The study provides information on historical development of the clarinet, the life of the composer, the performance period, and other significant works of Mozart. In the conducted research, there is no prior study has been found in Turkiye regarding Mozart's completed Clarinet Quintet, K.V. 581 in A Major, which stands as the sole completed quintet for clarinet composed by himself and holds significant importance in the clarinet repertoire. This study may serve as a guide for musicians researching his work and would be beneficial for the ones seeking information about the composition of Mozart's Clarinet Quintet in A Major, K.V. 581.
