Comparative language analysis of xivth century central Anatolian Turkish and contemporary central Anatolian sub-dialects (Phonetics-morphology)

The essence of the work in general terms is to determine the common and varying aspects of the same phonetic system used in two different time periods in the same geographical region and in specific terms is to identify the relation between the sub-dialects spoken in the present Central Anatolian region and the Turkish language used in the same region in XIVth century which covered the foundation period of West Turkish. In this respect, this study is the one which can be included in the historical sub-dialect pieces of research of Turkish used in Central Anatolia in the XIVth century in terms of following the traces in the contemporary Central Anatolian sub-dialects. In this study, the progress of the Oghuz-based West Turkish in the Anatolian geography, in the same geographical region at different times was examined by considering phonological and morphological values on the basis of historical linguistics and comparative linguistic method. As a result of the study, it was determined that a great majority of the language characteristics belonging to the Central Anatolian Turkish in the XIVth century were preserved in present Central Anatolian sub-dialects, and that these characteristics are further improved phonologically. Morphological changes and improvements between the two periods, are also morphophonemic, as they are based on sound changes and other sound events in the words and affixes.
