Examination of the views on ageing of university student in Y generation: The case of Anadolu University

The aim of this study was to determine the old and old thinking of university students in Y generation. Qualitative research method was used to achieve research objectives. As a research pattern, the phenomenon (phenomenology) used in studies that we are aware of but do not have an in-depth and detailed understanding is selected. The phenemological approach is an approach that is used to investigate, define, interpret experiences with individuals or groups of individuals in depth. In the research, a semi-structured interview form was used in the interviews and content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Analysis of the data obtained by interviewing method was done with nvivo 11 program. As a result of the research, it was observed that the participants had negative meaning of old age, they had high awareness levels about the problems of the elderly in general, they had no communication between the generations, and they had no feelings sharing.
