Abstract (EN)

In today's world, many people can easily communicate with each other with the development in internet. Each community that is made contact contributes to a person much and this helps people move forward. In globalised world we are in contact with other countries. This makes learning a foreign language a need. Turkey is one of the countries that has lots of immigrants and Turkish has an important place in foreign languages. When looked at the data in council of higher education in Turkey, 125138 foreign students have arrived at Turkey in 2018 to complete their university education. These students have to learn Turkish to communicate and understand the cultural activities like social values and beliefs. However, every person needs motivation to move. To learn a language requires to put an effort and make a movement. In this study, the motivation of these students coming from other countries was examined. In this study, motivation is examined in two ways as motivational sources and motivational problems. For this aim, there is a survey and it was applied to 100 students. The survey data is analysed by descriptive method. As a result of this study, the students seem to have integrative motivation and in the last part of this paper, further suggestions are made.
