Abstract (EN)

Recently, with the increase in demand for Turkish education, many institutions both in Turkey and abroad have started to provide this field education, and for this reason, these institutions, which provide training for Turkish education, have needed to prepare many textbooks to support language learning. It is known that what has the greatest role in transferring students to the target language effectively is textbooks after teachers. Because of this, it should be taken care to ensure that the information that will be transferred to the students in the textbooks is included in the book accurately and comprehensibly. In order to come true this,it should be taken care to prepare the book in accordance with the visual criteria in the preparation process. In this study, Istanbul Turkish for Foreigners which is one of the most used books in Tukish Teaching to Foreigners, in order to show how much it contributed to students in terms of visual order, a questionnaire was prepared for the teachers who gave training in this field and the results of this survey were evaluated. The questionnaire is presented under 9 main headings. In the 9th question which is the main part of the study, there are 19 items. The survey results were evaluated according to the opinions of 90 teachers working in this field. The results of the research include the opinions of the teachers who use the Turkish Course Book for Foreigners and the general recommendations of teachers about this textbook. as one of the most used books in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language about the visual layout of the book. It was determined that the teachers who use Turkish textbook for Foreigners in Istanbul are 72 people. The results of the study include the opinions of the teachers using the Turkish Course Book for Foreigners as one of the most widely used books in the field of Turkish Language Teaching as foreign languages and their evaluations on the visual order of the book and the general suggestions of the teachers about this textbook.
