Abstract (EN)

In today's era referred to as the age of technology, internet applications have become a reality of our time. Especially the Web 2.0 tools, which are a product of collective intelligence, interactive, user-centered, and evolving with increasing users, are the beginning of a significant transformation. These tools, which are used in various fields, including language teaching, are also used in the instruction of Turkish as a foreign language. Foreign language teaching lessons for Turkish as a foreign language are made interactive and entertaining through Web 2.0 tools. This study aims to evaluate the use of Web 2.0 tools in teaching Turkish as a foreign language from the perspective of educators. In this context, interviews were conducted with 14 teachers who work in 4 schools under the Turkey Maarif Foundation Iraq Representation, teaching Turkish as a foreign language. The research was designed using a qualitative research method known as "Case Study". Data for the research were collected through semi-structured interview forms. The obtained data were analyzed using content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the use of Web 2.0 tools in teaching Turkish as a foreign language provides material diversity, supports instruction, makes lessons interesting and effective, and enables enjoyable learning. Some challenges encountered in the use of Web 2.0 tools in teaching Turkish as a foreign language include lack of Turkish content, teacher training deficiencies, infrastructure limitations, and the complexity of Web 2.0 tools. In order to effectively use Web 2.0 tools in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, in-service training and enhancement of technological resources are necessary according to the participants. According to the results obtained based on the participants' views regarding the Web 2.0 tools used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, the most commonly used Web 2.0 tools are "Wordwall", "Canva", "Youtube", "Kahoot", "Classdojo", and "Learningapps”.
