The reflections of the Missouri's Istanbul visit in foreign and Turkish press and its impressions

With the starting of first relationship between Ottoman Empire and America which occurred in 1786 , also the diplomacy period has been opened between two states , But After the first world war and starting date of The Second world war which is 1936 and end1945 this long termed relationship has growed more and three state gained massive power in this second war. They were United States , England and Russia. İn their politicial benefits they have also taken some decisions for turkey either. Therefore with the ending of war in 1945 , showed that not only conference of Yalta was failed but also after that Postdam was a failiure too. And this failures led to more serious problems between England , Soviet Russia. Also the country which has closed to the on going matters in Europe with "Monrie Doctrine" ; America find it neccessary to involve in this matters which we will discuss the matters in succeeding chapters.And with this second world war The United States were going to be "Fortress Of Democracy" for the Turkey as we will work on. After the Postdam and Moscow Conferencess , America will change its reasonable attitude to aggressive against Soviet Russia. And Also will take the England's title "Protector in East Mediterrenan" to himself after the Soviet's thought of invasion of east europe. In our work we will try to give information about visiting of Missouri Battleship which named as "BB-63" , the biggest battleship ever in it's own period , successor of ending the Second World War and given a task in 6 March of 1946 by Harry Truman , President of United States of America , coming to İstanbul and how Foreign Press commented about this event from exiting America and coming to Istanbul. Also point it in our press which titles used in this newspapers, and also stressing the how Turkish public prepared for this visiting and as a conclussion trying to explain how political attempts has been accured according to this.
