Özet (EN)

Proton exchange membrane fuel and batteries (PEMFC) electro-chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to generate electricity as a result of energy conversion systems. Proton exchange membrane fuel battery with water as waste products are revealed. To increase the efficiency of the system of water vapor or liquid phase should be taken out of the system. The operating temperature of the fuel battery and fuel battery is used in the design of the bipolar plate is connected to.In this study, bipolar plates for use in different temperature ranges were examined. For this purpose, graphite-carbon bipolar plate and built on the CNC milling machine tools, the design of the hydrogen and oxygen gas flow channel has been opened. For hydrogen and oxygen gas flow channels are designed separately. Hydrogen gas flow channel in the drop-off to keep the atmosphere, the oxygen gas flow channel for the drop is kept open to atmosphere.Proton exchange membrane fuel cell battery with a single study has been produced, the experiments results were obtained in 0.84 volt open circuit voltage. Obtained the maximum power, current 5.613 ampere is defined as the value 1.324 watts. Battery operating temperature is the highest fuel measured at 39oC and the water so that liquid which has come into the open. Fuel efficiency with battery is 56%.Key Words: Bipolar Plate, Hydrogen, MEA, PEM Fuel cell
