The research of word groups in Sodom ve Gomore which was written by Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu

This is the study of word groups in "Sodom ve Gomore ", which was written by Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu. Thetopic of wordgroups, which is a discussiontopic in Turkish in Turkey, is mostly studied in types of written work ssuch as stories or novels. Thus, it is thought that it would be be neficial to choose the type of travel writing, on which not many studies have been carried out, as it could contri bute to the topic of word groups. Before the completion of the study, written works on word group shave been examined, and the views of linguists on the subject have been determined. The study consists of three parts. Inpart I, information about the life of Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu, his literary personality and works, which include "Sodom ve Gomore", on which the study has been carried out, is given. Inpart II, the definiton of wordgroups, theirfeaturesand how they were discussed in various written sources have been studied. Inpart III, word groups in the work of "Sodom ve Gomore" have been classified. Inthissection, words forming the word group shavebeen written in bold, page and line number shavebeen shown in parantheses. Numbering is based on when the enclosed text.
