Ecotourism potential of yalikoy (Ordu-Fatsa) and its near surroundings

In addition to sea tourism, which ranks first in the tourism sector, which is one of the rapidly developing sectors in the world, ecotourism, which is one of the new types of tourism, is rapidly spreading. Tourists, who turn to different pursuits from mass tourism consisting of the sea-sand-sun trio, make an orientation towards ecotourism in order to experience tourism in all seasons and to experience and learn the culture of the visited region in order to get rid of the intense, boring and oppressive life of city life. Ordu region is an area with high ecotourism potential, and the absence of any academic and scientific study on the ecotourism potential of Yalıköy is the biggest factor in the creation of the study. In this context, the aim of this study is to determine the ecotourism potential of Yalıköy and its surroundings. For this purpose, in order to obtain data in the study, field studies and observations were made in the research area, interviews were conducted with the public, and data were obtained with information from official institutions. Yalıköy and its surroundings, which constitute the study area, have a privileged importance due to its geographical location, natural beauties and also being in the tourism development zone. Since Yalıköy is on the Black Sea coast, it has the potential for ecotourism activities as well as sea tourism. Ecotourism activities such as boat tours, sportive angling, bird watching, gastronomy tourism, nature photography, cultural tourism, festival and festival tourism can be done in Yalıköy and its surroundings. The study is important in that it will be a helpful resource for the region. As a result, the ecotourism potential in the region has been examined and evaluated with different aspects by associating it with geographical factors, analyzes have been made, and conclusions and suggestions have been tried to be put forward.
