Abstract (EN)
Yalıköy (Podima), a forest village belonging to the Çatalca district of Istanbul province, is a settlement that was turn into a neighborhood structure with the 6360 numbered law and 12 November 2012 dated. The first settlements of Yalıkoy comes from the date of population Exchange and there were dwelling place's which are plan type's changed nowadays but it's still available to see the these kind of structures. The purpose of this study,to see what kind of facts will be affect like settlement form, structure type and the other socia economic will be affect by the change of economy. Depending on this purpose; By examining the changes that Yalıköy has undergone from the past to the present, spatial, demographic and economic differences have been revealed. When all this information is taken into account, Yalıköy has shown the characteristics of a settlement where the fishing and forestry sectors have declined in economic terms, the mining and tourism sectors have developed.
