In 1972, it is declared in World Land and Ground summit meeting, Kyoto that gases?uncontrolled spreading out in the atmosphere which creates conservatory affects and the increasing gas rate in the atmosphere cannot be acceptable. The producers of Portland cement has a big role in increasing carbon dioxide that spread out in the atmosphere. When compared to the other materials, forest products give the least damage to the environment and they are produced with the least energy. With a high durability against earthquakes, wood gives possibility to overcome the large openings. Moreover,it has advantages like to have long life and easy set up. More importance should be given regarding to increasing environmental problems and earthquakes. The importance of wood should be told and understood. Wood products and changes in wood construction systems shoul be considered seriously. So that there should be a widespread usage of wood. With the co-operation between Turkish Republic Ministry of Education and universities, Vocational and Technical Education Modernization Project and Module Education Programmes have been prepared. One of these modules, main wood procedures module, has been examined and some information was given about main wood procedures, introducing hand equipments, practising, overcome in construction components, wood processing machines with two combined parts, usage and care of machines. It is aimed for the students to gain knowledge and ability about making main wood procedures, using equipments and machines in accordance with work security rules. It will be beneficial that the subjects of wood?s development and renovation should be studied in our universities? Technical Education Faculties? Construction Education Departments. Also presenting some resources about process and information in wood courses will be useful. We also did studies in this enviroment and tried to present it.
