Some problems related to the safety of the people working in the workplaces have been revealed in direct proportion to rapid industrialization and technological developments. To take measures to protect workers from occupational accidents and occupational diseases and to inform them on this issue is the basis of Occupational Health and Safety. In this study, construction sites were inspected and sample risk assessment health and safety plan, instructions and control forms for work items were prepared. After entering into force of Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the problems experienced in practice were evaluated in terms of employees and employers and some suggestions were presented. It was concluded that a culture of occupational health and safety should be established and a pool system should be established for occupational safety experts and workplace physicians to make their work more objective.
