Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, sustainability-oriented supplier selection in the construction chemicals sector is addressed using multi-criteria decision-making methods. In the study, 19 evaluation criteria were determined by considering sustainability factors such as reducing environmental impacts, resource efficiency, and green innovation. First, the relative importance levels of these criteria were weighted using the Fuzzy SWARA method based on expert opinions. Then, data related to five suppliers operating in the sector were analyzed using the Fuzzy TOPSIS method, and the suppliers were ranked accordingly. This integrated approach offers a flexible and systematic decision support model that takes into account both uncertainties and differences in expert judgments. The results indicate that the green supplier selection process in the construction chemicals sector can be supported through a systematic approach enabled by quantitative methods. In this context, the study aims to contribute to sustainable supply chain management and guide decision-makers in the sector.
