Abstract (EN)
This study explores the effects of artificial intelligence and smart algorithms on the dynamics of the international system from conceptual, political, economic, and technological perspectives. The central question focuses on how artificial intelligence, beyond influencing daily life, is transforming nation-state structures, political cultures, and global power dynamics. As artificial intelligence evolves alongside information technologies, it has become a significant actor in social media, data flow, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes. This development contributes to the erosion of national boundaries and the emergence of a new political and economic paradigm. The research employs a qualitative methodology, combining literature review and case study analysis. In particular, it examines the role of artificial intelligence -driven algorithms in shaping voter behavior during the Brexit process, highlighting how big data was used to influence political outcomes. The Cambridge Analytica case is analyzed to demonstrate how data manipulation and microtargeting affected democratic decision-making. The findings suggest that algorithms can steer political processes and shape public opinion by controlling information flow. The study concludes that Artificial Intelligence is not merely a technical innovation but a rising form of power within the global system. It plays a transformative role in societal structures, economic strategies, and political communication, with far-reaching implications for the future of democracy and international relations.
