The administrational problems of primary education boarding district schools (the sample of Tunceli city)

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the administrational problems of Primary Education Boarding District Schools (PEBDS) according to teachers' view and to determine whether the problems to the teachers' view differ depending on the teachers' educational level, sex, branch and time of working. The descriptive screening model was used in this research. The populations of the research are all the teachers who works at nine Primary Education Boarding District Schools (PEBDS) in Tunceli. The sample and population are same and consists ninety nine teachers. To collect the data, the questionnaire that developed by the researcher which consists of two sections was used. The first section contains the personal features of the teachers; the second section contains the questions of the administrational problems. The administrational problems loaded on three dimensions. These dimensions are; administration, boarding home service and student personnel service in order to analyze the data, to determine the personal features of the teachers' and level of the administrational problems Frequency, Arithmetic Mean and Percentages are calculated. In order to determine whether the problems differ depending on sex and branches of teachers' T Test; to determine whether the problems differ according the teachers' educational level and time of working One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used. The results showed, the problem that is in dimension of boarding home service was found very important than the other dimensions of administrational problems. The mean of classroom teachers' view that all dimensions of administrational problems appeared more higher than subject teachers. The results showed significantly statistically difference between view of classroom VIteachers and subject teachers in dimension of administration and student personnel service (t=2, 50). The administrational problems were percept higher by teachers who has master degree than the teachers which have other educational level.
