Investion of Yavuz Bahadıroğlu's chi̇ldren's books in terms of themes in 2018 Turkish teachi̇ng programmes

Turkish lessons has an important place in the education given in schools for the development of children's national culture and values. Works of children's literature should be used in order to develop reading skills and to create a reading culture in Turkish lessons. Yavuz Bahadıroğlu's child books were examined according to the themes in the 2018 Turkish teaching program. The study was conducted using the document analysis method, one of the descriptive research methods. In this context, the sixteen children's books in the sample were summarized by the document analysis method. The stories in the books were examined in terms of compulsory and elective themes in the 2018 Turkish teaching program. The subjects in the sections examined were evaluated under different theme headings
